Domestic and international youth candidates from private bodies and international organisations are welcome to apply to Brussels’ EU Youth Sounding Board. The young participants will have the opportunity to join the European Union Youth Sounding Board based in Brussels, Belgium.
The European Union plays a significant role in development. It encourages global issues such as natural resource conservation, health, hunger and poverty, economic issues, and poor governance.

The EU Youth Sounding Board
The EU being the world’s largest donor for development cooperation, all of its member countries collaborate on development projects in a comprehensive and coordinated manner. It offers grants and funding in a variety of fields.
EU YSB 2021 accepts applications from both domestic and international candidates. A candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 30. This opportunity will cover travel and meeting participation expenses. All candidates will have the chance to collaborate with other international participants on a common goal.

Q1. What exactly is the EU Youth Board?
Ans. The Youth Sounding Board is a space for young people to influence EU external action and international partnerships. The selected board members will thereby contribute to making EU action more participatory, relevant and effective for young people in EU partner countries.
Q2. What is the duration of this EU Youth Board?
Ans. The Youth Sounding Board members will commit for two years, for about 15 days a year.
Q3. Where will the procedure take place?
Ans. Online. At least four meetings will take place every year – virtually and, when the situation allows, in-person in Brussels.
