1. How long does it take for LSU to accept you?
The admission process can take some few weeks (2-4 weeks) once your application materials are complete, the graduate school will route your application to the department, within the department, the admission committee usually has a quick turnaround (within a week) if everything goes smoothly.
2. What GPA do you need to get into LSU grad school?
3.0 on the Graduate School requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale or in the last 60 credit hours in the previous undergraduate or graduate coursework. All applicants must submit transcripts from all post-secondary colleges or universities.
3. How long does it take for LSU to process application?
The first round of admissions decisions are normally sent out around the Christmas/New Years break. After that we try to provide decisions within 30 days of a file becoming complete. At times during the application cycle, applicants may experience waits of 6 to 8 weeks to receive a decision.
4. How do you get a full ride scholarship to LSU?
To receive the scholarship, student must be enrolled full-time at LSU, plan to major in Education, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be in good standing at time of the award. Amount varies depending on earnings of scholarship.
