Scholarships and Admission at WUD for BBA and MBA are awarded for 10% of the total enrolled strength in each case on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In this article, we will be discussing the admission procedure, scholarships and eligibility criteria.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate must meet the required percentage of 10+2 if applying for a Bachelors program.
• They must have a Bachelors degree if applying for a Masters program
• A candidate must meet attendance criteria and 7.0 CGPA per semester for the continuation of Scholarship.
• If a candidate fails to fulfil the scholarship continuation criteria, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
• They can use the benefit of only one scholarship.

Admission Procedure

A candidate must abide by the following procedure to apply for an MBA or BBA degree.

• A candidate must apply online through the university website and fill out the application form along with the application fee.
• They must appear for an online interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student.
• The reviewers will select a candidate according to his/her previous years’ academic record, interview round, and the percentile of entrance exams such as CAT.XAT, GMAT, etc. ( if applicable).
• Selected candidates will receive an admission letter via email.
• Once a candidate receives admission, he/she must appear in person at the campus along with original documents for verification and pay the required fees.

Benefits of the Scholarship

• The authorities will adjust the total scholarship amount against the fee in the following manner. The first-year fee is fully payable.
• Final Year will be free, with 100% of the annual fee being adjusted against the scholarship.
• The remaining scholarship amount will be equally divided into 2, 3 or 4 years, depending on the duration of the programme.

Undergraduate Scholarships and Admission at WUD for BBA and MBA

The institute offers three categorised scholarships for undergraduate programs for BBA. The amount and eligibility criteria for each scholarship are discussed below.

Scholarship A

The scholarship amount is 3,21,300 INR, and the eligibility criteria are as follows.

• A candidate must have 90% and above aggregate in 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent.
• They must have CET Rank less than or equal to 500.
• The student must have scored more than 75% in the WUD entrance exam.

Scholarship B

The scholarship amount is 2,14,200 INR, and the eligibility criteria are as follows.

• A candidate must have 80- 89.9% aggregate in 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent.
• They must have CET Rank between 500-700.
• A candidate must have scored 61-75% in the WUD entrance exam.

Scholarship C

The scholarship amount is 1,07,100 INR, and the eligibility criteria are as follows.

• A candidate must have 70 to 79.9% aggregate in 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent.
• They must have CET Rank between 701-1000.
• A candidate must score 50-60% on the WUD entrance exam.

Postgraduate Scholarships and Admission at WUD for BBA and MBA

There are two scholarships for MBA programs. The amount and eligibility criteria for each scholarship are discussed below.

Scholarship A

The scholarship amount is 3,78,000 INR, and the eligibility criteria are as follows.

• A candidate must have an 80% and above aggregate Bachelors degree.
• They must have scored more than 80% in the WUD entrance.
• They must have appeared for CAT or any equivalent exam.

Scholarship B

The scholarship amount is 1,89,000 INR, and the eligibility criteria are as follows.

• A candidate must score 70-79.9% aggregate in a Bachelors degree.
• They must have scored 65-79.9% in the WUD entrance.
• They must have appeared for CAT or any equivalent exam.

Other Scholarships

Besides these scholarships, the university and NGO – Sapnay offer special scholarships to students who face limitations due to unforeseen circumstances. These scholarships offer a 20% waiver in total tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Only those candidates who aren’t holders of merit-based Scholarships are eligible to apply.
2. It will limit the total number of scholarships to 10% of full enrolled strength in each program on a first-come, first-serve basis.
3. You must provide School Certificates, Income Statements, details of examination taken, etc.
4. The scholarships are a privilege towards fulfilling a specific purpose and not an entitlement, so it’s upon University to grant you the scholarship or not.
5. These Scholarships will be processed after a student joins the University. Until the time of joining, the candidates are expected to follow the standard selection process.
