After 12th we go for bachelor programs and then pursue a post graduate program. This is the general rule that follows. Right? So, is MBA after 12th even possible?

Integrated MBA program is a dual degree program that combines the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Simply put, It is an integrated BBA/BMS/BBM + MBA. It is generally a five-year course that starts right after you complete your 12th class.

How do you enroll into Integrated MBA program?
After 12th, you need to give an entrance examination (varies for different universities) to get into any of the universities offering this program.

As a matter of fact, IIM’s are considered top business schools in India. Everyone wants to pursue their management studies from IIM considering the placement package and quality education.
So, getting into one of the IIM’s after 12th can be like a dream come true. Well, if you want to pursue MBA after 12th from IIM, then there are two IIM’s offering MBA (Integrated)
The entrance exam is IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT)
This entrance exam has three selection stages : Aptitude Test, Written Ability Test, Personal Interview and it is conducted once in a year.
The course fees in IIM’s can range anywhere from 21 lakhs to 28 lakhs approximately.
What is the eligibility criteria to enroll into Integrated MBA program?
The eligibility criteria for MBA After 12th is as follows:
- You need to have minimum of 60% in your 10th and 12th standards.
- There should not be a gap of more than 3 years after your 12th.
- Pass the entrance examination.
- Note that for SC/ST there might be some relaxations.
- IIM’s conduct IPMAT but, different universities offering the program conduct different entrance examinations.

You have to go thoroughly through the university, the syllabus and the curriculum and the type of integrated MBA after 12th program provided. As it is for a five year period, you need to be careful before enrolling into any university. You can also go for an MBA degree abroad if you want to.
While, a regular UG and PG programs can be very useful, the Integrated MBA after 12th can prove to be a golden opportunity worth tapping.
