Why is this TSP Scholarship provided? What does it aim for?
The main objective of TSP scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students from the minority communities. By providing them financial support to pursue their higher studies, they are ensuring a better future for the students.
In fact, this scholarship also aims for more female participation in the education sector by reserving more than 30% of the fund for female students.

What is the eligibility criteria for TSP scholarship program?
The eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship are as follows :
- The student should belong to a minority community.
- He/She should be a resident of West Bengal.
- The annual income of the household should not exceed INR 2 Lakhs
- The scholarship is meant for the students from class 11 to Ph.D
- The student should get the education in regular mode. (that is distance mode of education is not eligible)
- The student must score “less than 50%” in the examination of the previous class.
- Students securing more than 50% in their last examination are not eligible.
- The candidate who obtains this scholarship cannot access other scholarships given by any other institution.
- Maximum of two students from a family are eligible to apply.
- Candidate should have a bank account in a nationalized bank.
- The scholarship is provided for an year.
What is the application procedure for TSP scholarship?

- If you are new candidate, select “New Registration”
- Fill up the details
- Create user ID and password
- Now, after the registration process, click on “Student Login”
- Login by giving your credentials
- Go to the application form

- The form will be submitted
- You will receive a message on your registered mobile number

Yes, you can. but, you cannot apply as a fresher. The TSP scholarship renewal process is

- Submit the form and wait for the message
- You will receive a message on your registered mobile number
