Scholarship Coverage
Indonesian Government KNB Scholarship provides the candidate with the following benefits:
- A Settlement Allowance of IDR 1,250,000 will be given to new students upon their arrival in Indonesia;
- While taking the Indonesian language course and preparatory programs, the new students will only receive a Living Allowance of IDR 2,550,000 per month;
- During the Masters Program, the KNB students will receive a monthly allowance as detailed below:
– Living Allowance IDR 2,550,000
– Research Allowance IDR 400,000
– Books Allowance IDR 350,000 - Health insurance with a maximum of IDR 200,000 monthly premium (In case of the cost of medical services exceeded to those covered by the health insurance, the difference should be borne by the student);
- A round-trip international airfare (economy class) from the international airport of the student’s home countries to Indonesia, including local transport to the host university.

Eligibility Criteria for Indonesian Government KNB Scholarships
To be eligible for Indonesian Government KNB Scholarships, applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Required Languages: English
– Undergraduate: Have the English Proficiency Test Score as follows: IBT TOEFL of 80, IELTS of 6.0, TOEIC of 700.
– Masters: Have an IBT TOEFL score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEIC score of 700
– Doctorate: Have a TOEFL or IELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 7.0 IELTS or equivalent.
- Eligible Countries: All Countries
Undergraduate:
- The maximum age should be 25 years old.
- Possess a High School degree. Please be advised that a master degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Master Degree scholarship.
- Provide the recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General.
- Present a recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship from the employer/immediate supervisor.
- Provide Academic Recommendation Letter from previous schools.
- Prove of citizenship (Official Passport or Personal ID).
- Have atleast an IBT TOEFL score of 80, IELTS of 6.0, TOEIC of 700.
Masters:
- The maximum age should be 35 years old.
- Possess a bachelor degree. Please be advised that a master degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Master Degree scholarship.
- Have an IBT TOEFL score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEIC score of 700 (the certificate must be obtained within 2 Years).
- Provide the recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship from the Indonesian Embassy or the Indonesian Consulate General.
- Present a recommendation letter to apply for the KNB scholarship from the employer/immediate supervisor.
- Provide Academic Recommendation Letter from previous schools.
- Prove of citizenship (Official Passport or Personal ID).
Doctorate:
- The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 40 years old.
- Hold a master degree. Please be advised that a Doctorate holder is not eligible to apply.
- Obtain a recommendation letter from the potential research supervisor in one of the universities providing a partner of the KNB Scholarship.
- Provide a statement of purpose that at least defines their motive, their interest to study in Indonesia and pursue their career in the choosen research topic.
- Have a TOEFL or IELTS (or other certified English Proficiency Test) score of 90 TOEFL IBT or 7.0 IELTS or equivalent (the certificate must be obtained within 2 Years).

- Submit the Invitation letter, Passport, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the recommendation letter

- A Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English)
