IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak have a five-year integrated program that offers a BBA and an MBA. Further, for admission into this program, you don’t need a CAT or work experience or a prior bachelor’s degree. Moreover, this program is accredited by the Association of MBAs London. However, the admission to IIM after 12th is through a less popular common entrance called the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT).

IIM Indore course
The program is not divided into 6 month semester rather each year is divided into three terms of three months each. Hence, the program consists of 15 terms over the duration of 5 years. Additionally, the course mainly focuses on the following subjects:

IIM Rohtak course
The course at IIM Rohtak is called the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). Similarly, the IPM course consists of 15 terms. The program is three-plus four-mode, in which the first three years consists of nine semesters and the next two years follow the PGP syllabus.
Comparatively, IPMAT is easier to solve and less popular than CAT. Hence, you can easily score a better percentile than CAT.
Eligibility for admission into IIM after 12th
The following criteria of eligibility need to be fulfilled for admission into IIM after the 12th:
- Age: The maximum age for appearing in the IPMAT exam is 20 years. Thus, as of 2020, the candidate should be born on or after Jan 2001. Also, a five-year relaxation is given for the SC/ST/PwD category that is born on or after Jan 1996.
- Qualification of the student should be 10+2 with 60% aggregate. The year of passing 12th should be 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021. However, a 5% relaxation of the score is given for candidates from SC/ST/PwD category.
The number of seats available for the IPM in IIM Rohtak and IIM Indore is 150 each. After completion of the program, the degree awarded is the Bachelor of Arts in Foundations of Management and An MBA from IIM Indore whereas IIM Rohtak awards the BBA (if the candidate wishes to leave after 3 years) and MBA degree.

IPMAT for admission into IIM after 12th
The applications for the IPMAT being in the month of Feb. Usually, the last date to register is April end or May. The mode of the test for both IIMs is online. However, the registration fee for the tests is different. It is INR 4100 for the general category and INR 2065 for SC, ST, and PwD in IIM Indore while for IIM Rohtak it is INR 3890 for all.
IPMAT is a 2-hour exam that is conducted in the month of July for IIM Indore while May for IIM Rohtak. It is divided into three sections that are qualitative ability, quantitative ability, and verbal ability. The IIM Rohtak paper pattern consists of only MCQs while that of IIM Indore has MCQs as well as short answers. Further, the time limit is set for each section as 40 minutes. Lastly, the total number of questions is 100 for IIM Indore IPMAT and 120 for IIM Rohtak IPMAT.
The selection process for admission into IIM after 12th
The first step is to attempt IPMAT. The next step is to attempt the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. Lastly, the shortlisting is done on the basis of the performance in the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview and the score in IPMAT.
Additionally, the calculation of the computational score occurs in the following manner. The IPMAT score holds a weightage of 50, the personal interview- 35, and the writing ability test holds a weightage of 35.
